No water entering HW cylinder from CW storage

Thanks, Derekoo. Good idea. I could disconnect the 15 mm CW supply at the CH header tank, attach a hose to the 15 mm pipe, then stick the hose into the HW 22mm supply outlet at the bottom of the CW storage tank (drain some of it first and tie up the ball valve, so that the freezing cold water...

No water entering HW cylinder from CW storage

Chris - yes, the float valve in the CW storage is working OK - fills up CW from mains CW supply without any issues, then rises and stops CW entering.

    forth roof tiles

Hi miasoldman 4 roof tiles were bought and the price charged by Asphaltic was £4.50 each + VAT (a total of £21.60). My brother-in-law called in for them and he is fairly street-wise but I was surprised by how expensive they were. I think that one was new and the others were used. As I...

    forth roof tiles

Scotcem was bought by Lafarge in 2002 and closed by them in 2008. Asphaltic Roof supplies holds an extensive stock of Scotcem products. I bought some Scotcem Pentlands (380 mm) from them today. Hope this helps any other forum members.
