Hi, Has anybody had to fit a secondary circulation system? I can't seem to find a controller anywhere. I have a bronze pump but none of the usual suppliers can offer me a controller that can be programmed for short on/off settings. Perhaps there is something not related to plumbing...

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if either are suitable. It's running off a big multi so mains pressure and hot flow temp. Do you know of any industrial pipe suppliers who take small orders?

You could try loosening off the locking nut but be VERY careful. Take two spanners and very gently loosen the nut below the valve head. Then crank the valve around and lock it back up. Like I say, be VERY careful as one false move and you'll have black C/H fluid all over your room.

Have you sized the output correctly? ie. get a rad schedule and make a guess at the existing rad´s output to make sure your new towel rail isn't too big/small. With plastic pipe and push fit fittings you will want to leave the fittings exposed. The rubber seals inside are only guaranteed...

As long as the existing overflow discharges correctly then you can keep it. In short, you must be able to see the discharge and not risk water backing up to the pipe in any circumstance.
