    Try just adjusting the screw to were u need and a drop of super glue to stop it slipping back that should temp fix it in place so it will stop the flow of water as it rises when it fills back up after the flush, much simpler fix than changing the inlet just now

    Hi the hissing coming from this should just be the water passing the ball cran inside the cistern try tightening the small screw just at the end the float so it shuts off sooner as it fills this should stop it, if not you would need to change the inlet valve, part should be bout £15 and easy...

    Have you stuck the tiles with the sealant or just put a layer over the plasterboard then used tile adhesive over top of the sealant film to stick the tiles ? The tile adhesive won't stick to the sealant if this is the case

    I'd try cleaning it with suger soap and a fine sanding sponge it won't damage the rough porcelain tile then just try dying the exciting grout with the dye first

    If it's mosaic on the wet floor your best bets the dye but defo patch test it first, white grout never should be used on a floor and if it is best to seal afterwards if u try the dye let me know how u get on with it but think that's your best bet

    I'd say best bet then is oscillating saw with grout rake then re grout bit time consuming tho, but easier with the saw than by hand, plus I'd still try food colouring just make sure use gloves and tooth brush and just try a wee patch test first before cracking on

    If it wasn't flexi grout I'd just scrap the top layer off with a Stanley knife then treat with hg mould spray then re grout over the top again with fresh grout you would need to use the same palace white grout to make sure same colour and shade as before maybe try dye the grout with some food...

    Hg mould spray works great but just make sure u leave a window open bit of a strong fumes from it but should do the trick ,it's bout 6 bucks a bottle and go,s a long way Can be bought from bq

    You would really need to take off the shower cabinet and strip away the bottom course around the shower and strip away old plaster board leave to dry for a day or two then re sheet area with plaster board then re tile with a good adhesive and grout left to dry then sealed with a good silicon...

    Be best to tile whole room first before fitting any units or pottery as if changed later on down the line means having to re tile room not just changing of any units or pottery plus makes it lot easier than having to cut around when tiling We do this at the shop means we can change displays...

    You would need to latex screed over these first as the adhesive won't stick to good to the vinyl tiles and would lead to problems down the line
