Hi, My house is about 20 years old and the wooden framed double glazing needs some attention. The frames need painted inside and out (that I can handle myself), a couple of the panels have misted inside, the handles are loose and the seals are perished. I know that I can get the glazing...

    Replacement Boiler - Questions

Can you fill me in on the joke here? The chap who gave me the price was the plumber the builder used to fit a rad in our garage conversion. Seemed nice enough. What would be a ballpark figure for this sort of work? And thanks everyone for your comments. I always feel that I'm getting the...

    Gravel Path

It will only be used for foot traffic. The cars will remain on the drive. I don't have to do both sides but when I clean the cars the grass gets very muddy and the water hangs about for a while. When it rains it becomes messy.

    Gravel Path

Hello all, I moved into a house with a mono-bloc driveway for two cars. The driveway is only wide enough for a vehicle and over the winter the grass has been worn down by stepping out of the cars. We have a baby due in August and this will not be an ideal situation when a pram is involved...
