    I currently have a fused spur in my bathroom which is connected to a old 1950’s wall heater. This fused spur is on its own circuit, radial, 16amp breaker. What I wanted to know is, can a add a double socket off of a fused spur?

    Yes, the blue tape is where the cabinet is going to be; left side is the sink, right side is toilet. Was thinking about putting the flex under the floorboard, into a junction box and up the trunking (in the wall) and up to the fused spur.

    I’ve just brought a Macerator (Saniflo Sanitop UP) and the cable is too short for the fused spur!! I can’t lower the fused spur as it will be in the way of my vanity unit, sink and toilet. What are my options in getting this connected? A Junction box? Another fused spur? Thanks.

    I will have to read up more on safe zone. There is nothing behind these wall, like sockets, etc. I will leave about a meter of extra wire for the electrician. I using 20mm plastic conduct to plaster over. If it's wrong, I guess I'll be starting it all over again!!

    I was going to buy 1.5mm twin & earth cable BUT there isn't any earth on the light fitting! Yes I know a bit about safe zone, like if it's near a water source, IP ratings, etc.... I was going to Earth the box metal box as it has a earth block on it but the light fitting doesn't.
