Tiling a shower - Uncertain on enclosure fitting

Hello everyone, I'd really appreciate some advice. I did some tiling in our bathroom just under a year ago but left it half-completed. We don't use that bathroom and life got in the way. I'm now coming back to it and am starting to doubt myself!! The problem is about the shower area. I had...

    Unstable Rak toilet pan fitting

Hi Madrab, Thanks for your reply. Yes, it's the cracking that I'm worried about. When I took out the old toilet, I found that the installer had cracked the ceramic when tightening the floor bolts. I don't want that to happen again, so any idea how firmly I can get away with? I'm not sure I...

    URGENT tap attachment question

Hmm...thanks for your input! Hadn't thought about that. All I'd considered so far was that the water might in some way damage the plasterboard (despite the waterproofing). Do the tiles really add so much strength for the taps? Also received another reply on a different forum re: the shower...

    URGENT tap attachment question

I have a representative from our letting agent coming in an hour and a half. Our flat is a renovation job but the letting agent has taken on some of the work - including a new bathroom. We have to just do tiling. Their side of the work is running considerably behind schedule so there are a lot...
