    Door for slimline dishwasher

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately, I am limited for space as the dishwasher is at the end of the worktop and then there's my back door.

    Door for slimline dishwasher

Yes sorry, it's the oak style shaker range. I did find a unbranded one on Screwfix but seemed a bit expensive.

    Door for slimline dishwasher

I seem to be having trouble obtaining a door front for an integrated slimline dishwasher, can anyone suggest a good source please? I got nearly all my other stuff from B & Q but for some strange reason they don't do this item.

    Partial Draindown

I see what you're saying, that's what I intended doing; isolating the header tank by tying off, closing all the valves and then draining down, perhaps letting one of the rads drain to allow air in to facilitate draining. This has to work right?

    Partial Draindown

Ok so how about if I allow one of the rads to drain? Would that work?

    Partial Draindown

Sorry I should have pointed out that it is a fully pumped vented system. Just in case that is relevant.

    Partial Draindown

Hi all, quick question. I need to cut into a downstairs radiator pipe to modify it to clear a kitchen base unit, so what I wanted to know is can I shut off the lock shields and TRVs on the rads upstairs and just drain the water from the pipes to save draining the whole system? Cheers in advance.

Waste for dishwasher and washing machine???

[/url] Yes, that won't work for me as I have my sink in a 600mm wide base so too close to the side panel. I'll have to try to knock something up from odds and ends. Can't believe there is nothing out there, it's not like having both these appliances is a rare thing.

Waste for dishwasher and washing machine???

Hi all, I need to set up a waste pipe under a 1.5 bowl sink to accommodate a washing machine on the left of the sink and a dishwasher on the right side but cannot for the life of me seem to find what I need for this. Surely it's a common enough requirement yet all I seem to be able to find is...

    Joining kitchen worktops

Really, what do you use then? Is it ever possible to take these joints apart without totally wrecking them, should the need arise?

    Joining kitchen worktops

By the way, do you always glue the biscuits when you join the worktops together? Also, is it mandatory to use Color Fill?

    Joining kitchen worktops

Actually I found that one of the cuts would have caused the connecting bolts to interfere with the hob cut-out so I ended up cutting both female joints in the same piece of worktop (left and right hand).

    Extending 3 core flex

Well it's funny you should say that because I may have to do the same thing for my slim line dishwasher too. Is there a higher amp rating available for this? Thanks for the replies by the way people.

    Extending 3 core flex

Can anyone suggest the correct way to extend a three core flex without having to dismantle the appliance. I need to do this on a gas hob (for the ignition) and the socket I need to reach is just too far away. I have considered the flex connector box but am I correct in thinking this would not be...

    Joining kitchen worktops

I am about ready to fit my kitchen worktops and was wondering if my chosen method is now such a good idea. Basically, my kitchen is quite narrow at only 1.9 metres and I have decided to do a u-shape with full width (600mm) along the run of the window where the sink and washing machine etc go...

    Socket for diswasher

Yes, sorry I should have said, it is on the ring and not already a spur. The circuit is also RCD protected at the DB so all is good. I think I will go with your second option, ie coming through a flex outlet but without braking the cable. This method did occur to me but I was not sure whether...
