the combi i am having fitted is a w/b greenstar 28i, the manual says that a filling loop is optional so is it worth having ,what are the advantages and disadvantages ,and how much extra work is involved.

thanks for the advice i will make sure it is taken from the 22mm pipe even though it may cost a bit more as it is in an awkward position, better to be safe than sorry.

the gas feed for my new uninstalled combi is 22mm but to save time and expense would it be possible to tee off a 15mm gas pipe and then increase it to 22mm or would this create any problems.

the exsisting boiler is not a combi and has a vertical flue comming out through the roof

the old boiler is in the airing cupboard which has 4 internal walls unfortunately

cheers chris i haven't had my combi installed yet but my old boiler is on an internal wall and got about 6 months left to live, so i thought i could just have it installed where the old one is, do you think it would be wiser to move it to an outside wall which is possible.

well my nearest outside wall is about 6 metres away and i would need about 3, 90 degree bends would this be acceptable

would i be able to run a pressure relief pipe on a combi into a plastic waste stack,

obviousley a drain cock needs to go on the lowest point of your system, but does it matter which pipe you put it on in a combi boiler, eg ,flow, return,etc.

what is a pressure test gauge for pipework , and how does it work

the only way i can get my gas connection to my boiler is up in the roof space then back down to the boiler 20 feet away would this work ok ?

is it feasible to plumb in a combi boiler using plastic pushfit piping
