Hi all Just been doing a bit of research on replacement batteries and those from the branded makes are expensive. However i found these on ebay, they appear to be copied versions. Has anyone used these and if so are they any good? £23 for 14.4v battery at 3.0 Amps seems a great deal. I...

Vaillant Pro 24 with only one tap on filling loop

Yes best to turn the heating off whilst you do this. Each time you bleed air out of radiators, the pressure will fall again, so keep topping up, and dont let pressure go above 1.5 bar.

Vaillant Pro 24 with only one tap on filling loop

That black tap handle looks old so it may have seized up. Try turning it using an adjustable spanner. Or better still, remove the small screw holding it onto the valve, and take of the black handle. Dont worry no water will leak out. They use a small adjustable spanner of grip the small brass...

Vaillant Pro 24 with only one tap on filling loop

Yep can see it now! OK the black tap you see, what happens when you turn that verticle? Can you hear water filling your boiler? Keep an eye on the pressure gauge, it should start rising. If you turn the tap and nothing happens, there may be an isolation valve on the other end off the filling...
