    Central Heating Pipe Routing

Sorry guys I am confused why I can’t run them down the middle? Which ever route I opt for will mean drilling or notching. The length of the run is about 5m’s and then from each T to rad is approximately 2.5m’s

    Central Heating Pipe Routing

Thanks for the reply I am aware of the regs around notching and drilling but either way I do it the joists will need one or the other. My main concern is around the routing and if I should be at 22 or 15mm.

On the first floor I need rads in the three bedrooms and in the bathroom, utility and lounge on the ground floor. Is the below ok as a route? Door Gap problem

I have hung a door and despite the gap being perfect when pre hung and the hinges cut in nice and flush the gap is massive. I must be doing something wrong? The hinges don’t close up right so I can’t see how I can avoid a gap. Sure I am being thick.

    How do I disguise this.

Ah sounds like I am on the right track. I had to cut the bolts back as they were far too long so I cut them just before the nut.

I am in the process of plaster boarding my self build but I have hit a snag. I am just doing the stairwell and I have this timber that is bolted to the wall. Its the timber that the joists hang off and protrudes about 2 inches from the wall. I have cut the bolts off and was planning to plaster...
