    Thanks, i intend to replace the chipboard floorwith, WBP 18mm if i remember correctly. I am also tanking, can the membrane be used sothat it slightly overlaps from the walls on to the tray? i am assuming this is whaat you mean? thanks again

    Hi, i have always foundthis problematic, as the seals alway break intime. Is there aproduct or "trick of the trade" that ensures a really good seal and no leaks?

The small floor space that you step out of the shower on to is tiled. over time the floor under the floor tiles is wet and black. i have taken the offending chipboard flooring out and intend to replace with new.     Hi, i am having underfloor heating laid (the trace heating type) not water. am i right in thinking that proper slate will not conduct the heat aswell as a ceramic floor tile? cheers :)

    no hot water without CH being on

    No hot water to shower without CH on (Combi) this occurs early am, daft thing is tap water is hot. Then all seems to be ok in the afternoon??? How mad is this, anybody got any clues as to the problem? cheers in adavnce

    Hi whats the best thing to line the back of a planter where it joins a garage wall? The garage has a DPC 3 courses up, but the planter will be 7 courses high and filled with topsoil. Looking for ideas as to what is the best way to protect the garage wall from damp. cheers

    is it acceptable to remove the soil from the planters and apply a damproof membarane to the wall and the refill with soil? will this prevent the damp? Also, is there anything that can be done tp prevent damp where the pillars join the garage wall above the DPC???

    the soil just covers the base panels of the fence. What do you reckon to the brickwork that you can see???
