Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i System - condensate trap

Thank you - I’ve disconnected the rubber gator which fits over the pipe and diverted that into a bucket for the condensate whilst we have this freezing weather which seems to have sorted things. I’ll leave the draining of the trap to a professional at the next opportunity!

Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i System - condensate trap

Evening all, Condensate trap on the boiler is full of crap (as per photo) and we are getting EA messages related to the condensate exiting - probably due to freezing but this could also be causing an issue. Manual is fairly unclear on whether boiler will refill the trap automatically as part...

Occasional Death smell through kitchen drain

The run goes Sink->Dishwasher (spigots into sink waste)->toilet (coming from another run)->sewer It could be the dishwasher siphoning out the water potentially, that being the case I could introduce a...

Main issue is that the hole in the shower tray is marginally to the right of that pipe so an elbow throws it too far. Then I've got the...

    Advice about fittings under shower

Have the following under a shower I've just had to remove as plumbing was poorly done and leaked. The black part of the pipe is 40mm diameter, which will run into a standard shower trap. I believe the black 40mm pipe has been "wedged" inside the waste coming from the floor (white element...

    Warm Deck Flat Roof

Thanks for the reply. They've not put ply over the insulation, just screwed that black layer onto the insulation. This has all come to light as the final felt was terrible and so I've called in roofers to give advice

    Warm Deck Flat Roof

Evening all, Just had an extension built with a new flat roof. Effectively it's been done as a warm deck, with OSB/Ply then Reticel insulation, then another layer mechanically fixed, then the felt. https://goo.gl/photos/zA6S2YQeQXMNCTzC8 Issues- 1. No vapour control layer 2. Is this...
