Euro 46 issue setting alarm with tag

I know the areas that have been setup against each button. The A is a full set which is what I use to arm the alarm when I leave the house. I am wondering if the level set has not been programmed to the tags

Euro 46 issue setting alarm with tag

Yes it responds. It starts the exit tone. When the door is closed, it then sounds a solid tone, but doesn’t stop/arm

Euro 46 issue setting alarm with tag

I’m not sure- I have two tags and neither work to set the alarm, so I assume it’s something in the keypad settings that needs changing.

Euro 46 issue setting alarm with tag

That doesn’t work. If I use the code and press A and yes the alarm sets. If I use the tag and press A and yes the alarm doesn’t arm.

Euro 46 issue setting alarm with tag

Yes the alarm sets fine with the code. When you input the code to go out, all the ABCD buttons light up (as they have been programmed for different zones for night setting). You select A for full set and exit. The alarm arms as soon as the exit door closes.

Euro 46 issue setting alarm with tag

Hi - I have a Euro 46 alarm with keypad and tags. The tag works fine when I enter - it turns off the alarm. However when I leave, I tap the the tag on the keypad and the exit tone sounds, but when I exit and close the final door. The ‘solid’ timer tone sounds, but doesn’t stop or arm the alarm...

    Changing Euro 64 Keypad

It’s the second keypad (not the main one near the front door). It’s located at the back of our bungalow and is only used to part arm the system at night. I was hoping it might be a simple swap, but wanted to check before I disconnect it.

    Changing Euro 64 Keypad

my alarm system (installed a few years ago by SPE) has two keypads - one of which has a couple of faulty keys. I have purchased a replacement but was not clear if, once the keypad was swapped over, it would need any kind of reprogramming. I was also considering moving it to a new location...

Unable to set Euro 46 Alarm

Thanks for that - it made me think through what I looked at in the menu. Seems like I did change the code (didn't mean to). Now it is 6 digits instead of 4 - fortunately a logical 2 digit add on from the 4 digit code!

Unable to set Euro 46 Alarm

Hi - not sure what the problem is. Previously I was trying to access the managers menu (which I was able to do). Now when I try to arm the alarm nothing happens. I'm not sure if I altered something when I entered the managers menu. The problem is i can't get into the managers menu any longer...

Manager Code - Euro 46 Alarm

Thank you for your patience! I am going to run through the menu again - it just threw me that it showed 6 stars- I thought this meant the current code was 6 digits. If when I remove the keypad from the wall, the siren sounds, should it just be the case of entering my code into the keypad (like...

Manager Code - Euro 46 Alarm

When I get to the manager code, it is 6 stars, but my user code is 4 digits. Does the 6 stars mean the manager code has 6 digits? If it is, I don't think if it is anything we set.

Manager Code - Euro 46 Alarm

I'm OK not knowing the code, but thought I might need it, as I will need to temporarily remove the keypad from the wall when decorating. If I can silence the alarm using my everyday user code, that's great, but I didn't want to get to that point and find I needed a managers code to silence the...

Manager Code - Euro 46 Alarm

Hi - long time lurker, but was looking for some advice about my alarm. I had an alarm installed by SPE alarms (now SPY alarms) about two years ago (not monitored). I did have a service contract with them, but had a bit of a falling out when they refused to change a faulty keypad (sticky keys)...
