Hi - I have a Euro 46 alarm with keypad and tags. The tag works fine when I enter - it turns off the alarm. However when I leave, I tap the the tag on the keypad and the exit tone sounds, but when I exit and close the final door. The ‘solid’ timer tone sounds, but doesn’t stop or arm the alarm. The message on the keypad is ‘please leave by exit route’ and the ABCD buttons are all lit red.

I have looked at the programming guide and can’t see anything that relates to this. Does anyone know if this is a simple fix, or do I need to get an engineer to come and reprogram it.

Does the alarm set ok with a code ? ….if so when you enter your code to set what buttons light up ? ABCD .?

Yes the alarm sets fine with the code. When you input the code to go out, all the ABCD buttons light up (as they have been programmed for different zones for night setting). You select A for full set and exit. The alarm arms as soon as the exit door closes.

Looks like an issue with the tag programming ….it can be reset in code/ tag programming …you would normally assign it to area A only in programming if set as a user code level and unset any …..as most people use the tag for full set only …

Yes you will have to select your area then press yes to set as u do with the code. Or u can assign the tag to area A only if you dont want to have to press anything. What is your current area set up

That doesn’t work. If I use the code and press A and yes the alarm sets. If I use the tag and press A and yes the alarm doesn’t arm.

Yes it responds. It starts the exit tone. When the door is closed, it then sounds a solid tone, but doesn’t stop/arm
