    Above door heater

It's ok. The boiler is behind that door and there's a drain off valve there. If the ISO valves don't work I'll quickly end up with a pool of water.

    Above door heater

Yeah it has ISO valves to the heater which made me think it was from the water supply. Didn't think you were supposed to put ISO valves on central heating. Anyway, they're below the ceiling and I want to cap it off above the ceiling.

Excellent! Many thanks. Really glad I found out the heater was part of my CH circuit before cutting the pipes.

    Above door heater

Thank you. I've got to add a radiator into the room so I'll drain the system. As a DIY'er I've not heard of the other methods. I assume once I've drained it I can cap it with a compression or push fit stop end? I haven't braved soldering yet  I've drained my CH a few times to change...

As there's stop valves on the pipes I'm making the assume it's from the water supply. Unfortunately...

    Full DIY House Renovation...

Hey. Fantastic work. I see you've put the range cooker in the chimney. Have you got your extraction up inside? We're planning to do the same at our place and have been looking at telescopic hoods that recess into the chimney.

    Bi-Folds without sill

Thanks everyone. It's reassuring to know there's a solution. I plan to place channel drainage below the bi-fold. My immediate concern was the 30mm of exposed brickwork which as 'God' has suggested I'll resolve by placing a 50 x 25 aluminium trim over the brickwork with a batten and drip groove.

    Bi-Folds without sill

Hi, I recently had a set of bi-folds fitted without a sill as I wanted to have a level floor inside and out. The frame has face drainage and a weather threshold but as the doors are set back on the outer cavity wall I'm left with 30mm of exposed brick on the base. I have a DPC on and behind the...
