    Hardi-Backer Board

    Anybody know how to seal the joints in hardi-backer board. The webpage suggests using alkaline tape. Is this the same as normal plasterboard joint tape?

    Bath Frame

    I've notice that most acrylic baths I have seen fitted have timber strengthening frames to prevent the bath flexing. Is this just a feature of cheap baths or is it good practice to put a frame together whenever you install a bath? Any tips on building a frame?

    Tiling directly onto plasterboard

    Simple question this ... Is it OK to tile directly onto plasterboard (with primer) or would I be better off skimming first? (p.s. The wall is to be used as a shower wall so would I be better off using Aquapanel instead? Cost puts me off a bit though!)
