Can dark grout potentially fade in the sun?

Thank you Conny for your help. I've definitely decided to go dark so that's one decision made. He's now recommended the flowpoint smooth but I'm not keen on the visible aggregate and would prefer a solid colour. I've researched a couple of alternatives and will have a chat with him regarding...

Can dark grout potentially fade in the sun?

Hello! I'm currently having a porcelain patio laid in Town Anthracite; I've attached a picture so far. Originally I was looking at having the EasyJoint jet black or possibly basalt grout. However the landscaper has advised that this could fade in the sun and not be very aesthetically pleasing...

    Outdoor porcelain laying pattern

Hi all I'm currently in the process of having quotes to lay a porcelain patio (around 2.4m square) and also a path made with the same porcelain tiles. I have found some tiles that I like and they are 600mm x 600mm. I have read that anything longer than 750mm (which obviously mine would not be)...

Do I need to remove conifer roots before having a patio installed?

Thank you everyone! I've managed to get more out than I expected although it's hard and slow work. I figure I'll keep going as the more I get out myself the better. I'm assuming that if the roots go deeper than say 4 or 5 inches below the ground, I can just lop them off and they won't do any...

Fencing over manhole cover - solution required!

It isn't my fence. It is the neighbour's responsibility. However he is renting and the landlord has no desire to change it (however he is very happy for me to do so as long as I pay, of course). As I would like some privacy (and the rest of the garden needs fencing which is my responsibility)...

Fencing over manhole cover - solution required!

Apologies for the delay in my response. Thank you so much for your detailed reply; I really do appreciate it. I think I'll ask the gardener to go with your easiest solution and then hide the gap with pots!

Fencing over manhole cover - solution required!

Hi My boundary crosses a manhole cover which I don't want to block access to but I would like to replace the fence with something stronger and more private. My original idea was to use concrete posts and concrete gravel boards as I want it to be as strong as possible and also want to prevent...
