I am having an electric shower fitted shortly.It is a new installation(previous shower was mixer ,not electric).It will have its own fuse etc. fitted external to the consumer unit. How are the connections made to the consumer unit,cable size,physical connection etc.? The shower will be fitted...

Thanks. The reason why i asked was that i've been told not to use boss white on repair to cylinder as it is banned for use with potable water.

Is water from hot water cylinder ,used for shower etc. regarded as potable water.? :?

i've recently had two quotations to build a single storey extension to my house.One builder will use a suspended timber floor,the other concrete.There is a considerable difference in the two,which may not be the floor cost. Can anyone tell me the advantage / disadvantage one has over the other. :?:

I am replacing my immersion cylinder.All four fittings are elbow.I want to fit the new cylinder in the same position as the old one but find that some of them don't line up with the original piping when tightened fully.I have to turn them back approximately a quarter turn for correct alignment.I...

1. chamber has two drains connected.One from toilet,other from kitchen waste. 2. Plastic 3. Preformed plastic. House is approx. 25 years built.

I want to fit a toilet to my workshop.It is 10 mtr. from my house.There is an inspection chamber close to the house,and is in line with the new toilet position.It is approx.60 cm. to the base of the chamber. Q. What are my plumbing options for the toilet.
