    Slow pressure loss in central heating

    A very generic question, but what sort of pressure loss in a central heating system is considered to be 'okay', I.e doesn't warrent any further leak investigations? I started with a loss of about 0.5bar a week, reduced that to 0.1bar a week by replacing some old cast iron column radiators...

    Eb fault code on Viessman 200 boiler

    Hi, I keep getting an error message on my viessman boiler. Fault Eb, which the manual says is something like "repeated failure to drawn down sufficent heat' If I keep resetting the unit eventually it starts up okay and then runs alright for a few days before coming up with the same error...

    Fuse wire

    My electrics box has a main trip switch and then the rest is the fuse wire cartridges. Should I get it upgraded? Or can I simply replace each fuse wire with a RCD trip?

    Its that time of year!

    Switched on the central heating, and, nothing!! After some investigation I thin kthe 3 way valve has gone. If I manually pull the lever over the boiler fires and things start pumping, but as soon as I let go, it springs back. Its a Honeywell valve with an 'auto' and 'fill/drain' setting on it...

    Painting over gloss

    My living room has nasty yellow gloss paint all over the doors, door frames and the coving. What is the best way to paint over it? Or do I need to strip it down completely? I would like to go for a white gloss finish instead. Anything but the yellow glare!! :roll:
