    Pressure Reducing valve query

Understood, I wouldn't leave it at autofill and set the prv at 1 - 1.5bar for filling or topping up the system. The T at the flow out connection from boiler has vent pipe on it, can this PRV connection for filling the system be made at that connection? The EV goes on the T at the return on boiler?

    Pressure Reducing valve query

Thanks, that explains the double check valve I have has a provision of installing a pressure guage, so I don't need to use PRV to seal it.

    Pressure Reducing valve query

Thanks, will change it to proper guage. It looks like it but I thought I'll ask anyway. I need to add a filling loop on an open vent boiler to seal it, hence these questions.

weather compensation sensor and pump; are they related?

Boiler : Viessmann Vitodens 100-w OV heat only boiler. pump : Wilo variable speed pump; CH only - no dhw on boiler. I bought a WC sensor basic (see attached photo) and connected it via provided lead to the boiler on port x21 on board. The external pump is connected to the boiler on port 20. When...

Pipework for adding unvented cylinder to combi

Rob and others helped me install a HW cylinder and I ran 22mm pipework as primary circuit from boiler to cylinder coil. The boiler and DHW cylinder should be as close to each other as possible to minimize losses which improves recovery time. My 160 litre cylinder connected to a 19kw boiler takes...

    Re circulation line - DHW

Thanks, i think it should be the way to go to improve efficiency. Where should I be teeing into primary recirculation loop at the beginning of the loop or just before the recirc pump where it enters the cylinder? Is the pipe in picture in my post MLCP? I can see the aluminium layer in between...

    Re circulation line - DHW

Thank you. Understood pump on return. The length of the recirc line is 50ft to the hot water recirc inlet, Whereabout on the re-circulation line should I be putting the pump at the start of line from farthest fixture or near to the HW cylinder.

    Re circulation line - DHW

Hi, I have 160 litre vented DHW cylinder. I am trying to put a re-circulation line from cylinder to farthest fixture which would be going through two bedrooms till it reaches the farthest fixture. I have bought a recirc pump Grundfos comfort BA 15-14 BA which i would be putting on...

    Weather Compensation Question...AGAIN?

Now that the heating season is over, could you quantify the gas usage and comfort in the house after WC? The reason I am asking these questions is that I have older model but haven't been able to configure it.
