    treating wood- oil

    I've just added to 2 coats of Danish Oil to a wood table top. The oil has dried but is a bit rough to the touch in places. is this normal, should I give a light sand between coats? The top was dust free and I used lint free cloth to apply- so no problem there cheers

    sealing gas hob

    Do you seal a gas hob to worktop same as a sink/ I've been advised not to use sealent? I take it because the heat from hob will burn/melt seal or something?

    washing machine/dishwasher inlet pipes

    I'm plumbing in washing machine and diswasher but the appliances will be further away than the hot and cold water inlet supply pipes will allow i.e. the longest plastic pipes I can find are 2.5 metres. Any idea where I can get longer pipes or what I can do? cheers
