so when filling the gaps in lining paper, should you paint the paper first then fill, or fill it then paint it? I'm thinking that if you fill a gap and then sand it gently , it'll ruin the paper, wont it?

i've been leaving my hot water on constant, the rads seem to come on early evening generally, I don't what motorised valves are!?

i don't know much about heating! our radiators seem to come on and off when ever they want, as its hot outside i have had the heating off for a few days now but some radiators are still warm. I've tried turning them off and now others are warm, a lot of air seems to get in to two upstairs...

I've had a quick search but can't see much, I've got white tiles in my kitchen, every so often there a bright green one, is there a product i can paint these single green tiles with? and is it any good? I don't want to end up with lots of shiny white one then the odd strange looking painted...
