I have noticed that when the washing machine is running or the toilet stops filling that there is a clunk in the hot water pipe. hot water is from a combi boler and the cold is on the mains. any idea to what is the cause. thanks

Tthis new basin mixer has a pair of flexable tap tails. they are only about ten millemetreson the outside diamater. can I reduce the hot and cold supplie pipes down to the same size. it would be for a distence of about 8 foot. the hot is from a combi boler and the cold is from the main. thanks

My niece and her boyfriend want to do some work in the loft. this would entail moving the existing elson tank from it's current position to one end of the loft. can the gravity supply pipes be run horizontally to the new position or is the idea a non- starter? .thanks

JPC. When the hot tank is filling after a tap has been used, at some point in the filling process the ball valve starts to bounce up and down on the surface of the water. this bouncing action appears to be causing a little water to enter the central heating storage tank through its ball valve...

Bahco....I have read the post that you mention. so you are saying that the ball valve on the hot water storage tanks is possibly just a bit weak which is why it is being affected by the filling of the hot water tank? there are no drips from it after the hot tank has filled. JPC. no one tanks...
