Ive had two Panasonic Freesat boxes that have worked perfectly for a bout 10 years....but both have recently given up working....been looking on the internet for replacements....but theres no choice....any idea why?

Im gutting my lounge, in the lounge is two bow windows which will have lights(table lights) in them....rather than have cables dangling down going to a outlet in the wall....is it possible to fit a electrical socket into the sill?

Thank you....Its an oldish Panasonic...I tried the settings but couldn't make it work with the HDMI.....I then tried the CCTV DVR and cameras connected by HDMI to a new Panasonic in the bedroom...and it worked....I then tried it again in the oldish Panasonic TV in the lounge and somehow it...

Just bought a Hikvision DVR...tried to connect to the HDMI on my TV but wouldn't work...but it works in the PC VGA port... Im confused why... 8MP DS-7208HUHI-K1 Hikvision 8 channel Turbo 4.0

Thanks for you help, I thought ONE CAT 6 cable could run 4 cameras...with the power supply in the loft..

I live in a bungalow...Im going to be using CAT 6 cable x 2 to run 8 camera's...2 front of bungalow..1 in the porch looking at front door.....2 on the back...and 1 to the side...and leaving 2 outputs for future use...(8 channel) Now Im getting confused...is NVR better than DVR or the other way...

Im a complete novice with CCTV and Ethernet fitting. Ive chisel a channel in the wall in the longue to accept 5 cables - 3 Ethernet(firestick etc) and 2 for the CCTV. Im a bit confused what cable to use...what would be the best?....Cat 5e or Cat 6? Cheers for any help..

Can I run 3 x ethernet cables for Firestick , TV ect and 2 x ethernet cables for CCTV in the same Metal Cable Sheathing ….Would this cause any problems? Cheers...
