check to see if the motor is inverter controlled . sometimes motor inverters earth leak in their circuit and therefore thr rcd protection rating needs to be upgraded

if the hot water inlet was permanently letting by it would just keep pouring over the washing making it hot after it has just finished the last rinse ....making the washing hot (and a bit wet too )

can i suggest you look at the aps venturi as i had similar probs a while ago and i found a partial blockage

i agree , a good service may sort it out , try disconnecting the wire next to the flame sensor (at the board ) see wot you get then
