    Bosch Classixx 6 1200 WAE24364GB/11 electrical odour

Have a quick look at the interference filter. I had the same thing on a hotpoint washer, unplug the machine, whip the lid off and follow the mains lead where it should go into a block or cylinder thing check the connections for and marks or melting.

A Nice long weekend to move a radiator and an plug socket!

We had a similar problem regarding water under the living room floor. I was convinced the fish tank was leaking or something cus it was that kind of smell. With a bit of investigation and also speaking to a neighbour we found out that the rain water downpipe only goes to a soakaway, and as our...

Beko WMA 510 washing machine leaps and bangs

    BEKO WMA510W Spin issues

Might be worth checking that the bolts holding the concrete blocks are nice and tight. I've seen a beko that wouldn't spin to full speed properly because of this. The bolts were not loose enough to make the blocks rattle or anything but loose enough to throw the drum slightly out of balance...

    Unable to open French Doors!

it is possible (if the door has them) that the top and bottom shoot bolts have slipped out of the mechanism. you would need to take the mechanism out of the door, reset the shootbolts in the right place and put a dab of superglue to stop them popping out again..

live to work or work to live?

I have done factory work, and yes it is very boring and repetative, but i've also worked with some fascinating people in these places. I still see some of the people now after our factory closed down. I currently still work for the same company as a service engineer (upvc products) and i love...
