    CARAVAN HEATER

Has anybody solved the problem of lighting the pilot light on a Johnson & Starley JB25PB mk5 hot air caravan heater? When left for a week lighting the pilot takes (what feels like) hours, it is far quicker to undo the nut that secures the pilot light tube and purge the air out then light it...

    Ground source heat pump

As mentioned earlier the favourite (at the moment) is the Worcester, I will probably use one of their cylinders (280ltrs) as well, this comes with tails for connection to a solar system. I planned to fit the pipe work as far as the loft for possible connection at a later date. I know a HP is...

    Ground source heat pump

Balenza, You were correct first time, I am installing the system. And I too have discovered that the salesmen (of heat pumps) state performance figures which other suppliers (UFH products) seem to think are very optimistic, that is part of the reason for my inquiry, it would be easy to design a...

Do I understand that when the fuel tap is on one carb has fuel running from the overflow? New CH system - knocking rads

Check to see if the TRV's have a arrow on them, this is the direction the water should flow through them. Turn the heating off long enough for the rads to cool then turn it on and feel which end of the rads get warm first, if the TRV is at the warm end the arrow should point towards the rad, if...

When it is switched on the fan starts, runs for 1-2 seconds stops and runs again for another 1-2 secs, this repeats untill I'm bored looking at it. 1st thought APS but it isn't running long enough (purging) through its cycle to recognize air...
