    Leaking extension roof

I am pretty sure it is not the flashing. I've done a water test (sprayed it with a hose) and it seems to be coming in through the two rows of tiles at the bottom. Any ideas?

    Leaking extension roof

If it was the flashing or lack of, wouldn't the leak be below where the extension meets the main rear wall? The first leak I had was coming in above the window and then through the ceiling as shown in the photo. I would say the pitch was 30 degrees but might be a bit less. Thanks for your...

    Leaking extension roof

Could anybody help with clues to the cause of this leak. I've lived here 11 years and never had a problem, then all of a sudden it's started leaking. The only thing I can think of it that I hosed down the roof a couple of weeks ago to get rid of the moss which had accumulated over the years...

    Wiring for low voltage downlighters

Ok, thanks that makes sense now but with regard to my initial question, assuming the sparks can get to one of the light holes from the plasterboard I leave out, he will be able to make the connection accessible?

    Wiring for low voltage downlighters

Excuse my ignorance but why would I need to access the junction once everything is finished?

    Wiring for low voltage downlighters

It is the existing triple spotlight in the centre of the room. I was just going to leave the plasterboard out where the light is, so he could connect up from there.

    Wiring for low voltage downlighters

I am putting a false ceiling in my bedroom with 6 LV downlighters. My electrician has let me down and I want to board the ceiling, so that I can tape and joint it. If I cut the holes out for the lights and loop a bit of cable for each light through the holes leaving one board out for...

    Leaking Bottle Trap

Hi, I removed the bottle trap to unblock a bathroom sink. When I put it back it leaks like nobody's business. Is it just a case of PTFE tape or could it be something else? Thanks
