    Tiffany heavyweight vinyl wallpaper

I have 6 rolls of this vinyl paper to hang (free match) for a customer and it says on the label to use Pride ready mixed adhesive. Am I being foolish if I just use the normal water soluble Solvite and mix it up thick? I really don't like using the ready mixed stuff.

    Ready mixed wallpaper adhesive

Does anybody use this stuff? When hanging papers such as Arthouse it specifically tells you to use it as its heavyweight, I hate using it! Is there an alternative, like maybe mixing some normal paste up but thicker? Or a little PVA added?

How do others go about running a border up the middle of a stairwall? The stairs are not a single case, they turn after about 3 steps so obviously the angle would need to change.

    What paint do you use?

When pricing a job if the customer insists on Dulux emulsion being used would you just buy it off the shelf, the retail stuff? B&Q sell 2.5 litres for around £15. If you're pricing up a large house with many rooms it would cost hundreds!! A job I looked at the other day will need around 80...

    Zinsser BIN

Has anybody had trouble with this stuff or is it just me? I used it to cover a water stain on a ceiling and it took about 5 coats of emulsion to cover! I've also used it over stained/varnished woodwork and found that it chips very easily. What do others use?
