Hi there, I am a fully qualified spark and I work for a big company and have been asked to issue a periodic inspection on a property. I can test as it is part of my job but I wanted to know whether you need to be registered to issue a certificate? Or do you just have to be 'competant'?

Holmslaw is correct. If people start putting crimped connections or any other type of connections in a wall that is to be plastered over it is not good workmanship. put it in this instance if you were chasing a wall out and you came across joints buried in the plaster you would say to yourself...
