Thanks for the reply. When selecting some of the options on my elite 24 you can select area 'a' 'A' 'b' or 'B', I wondered whether this was a glitch reserved for higher end panels in the range; or intended to be that way.

You'll probably find you've got a part faulty called an air pressure switch. The design was modified a few years ago, and changed from a black one to a grey one, part is about £20, plus fitting. Good luck

Worth a mention, but if the isolation valves ever leak on most boilers, a dose of Leak Sealer injected through the filling loop 99/100 will fix the leak. Lost count how many times I've done it now. It sure gets you out of trouble on a Friday afternoon! (sentinel is the one I use, cartridge format)
