    with regard to the query about RCD . There is an RCD switch on the main consumer unit ,which covers the garage, in the house. The house is 6 years old.

    Hi... I have a 13amp socket in my garage that's run from a consumer unit (in the garage) as one socket is not eough I was wondering if i coud run a spur from that socket even though there is only one cable coming into it. would appreciate any assistance.

    hi again chri5. the storage heater socket on the wall leads to a seperate unit in the meter box which i assume the be the eco7 unit. I was thinking that i could replace heater socket with a standard power socket and then run a spur from this?
