    Removing built under cooker

Hi, I have a built under electric double oven, 70cm high. It does not stand on the floor but seems to be pearched on a bracket about 15cm of the floor. It's between two cabinet ends and does not have it's own cabinet. I can't for the life of me figure out what's holding it in place. I'm...

    Bathroom Bonding

Hi, I've just checked the pipework. The last 10 inches going to the bath taps is plastic. The thread that the pipe work screws into on the toilet is plastic but the sink taps are metal and there is a fexible metal hose going to them.

    Bathroom Bonding

Hi, after watching one of those daft housey programs last night I now know my plumbing is not bonded. I had a new bathroom installed a year ago and the plumber did not mention it. Is this an imeadiate hazzard? We are planning on moving in 6 months, is it worth the cost of getting it done? Any...

Where do the pro's buy spares?

Yeah I can see your point, but when you know exactly what you want it makes no differance. I'm a photographer and I buy all my kit from a dealer online who has the cheapest price, I research my equipment first so I never have to ask for advice. Also I've had Sh###y service from companies...

    Ravenheat combi boiler

I inherited mine as well, had 3 problems, noise (which I fixed by topping up the system, thanks to this site) The timer keeps resetting itself and clearing the programs. There is a leak on the water in pipe, where it joins a round brass thing with other pipes coming out of it (not very...

    ravenheat timer problem

I've had a look at the back panal and there is no place for a battery, the system is wired to the mains. Can an earthing fault cause it to clear? I often hear the boiler making a loud clicking noise, is that normal? Cheers Bobby

    ravenheat timer problem

Hi, I\\\'ve got a Ravenheat rsf820/20 combi boiler. The timer keeps loosing it\\\'s information i.e all the programed on off times are gone and the clock time is wrong. Someone recomended replacing the clock. Any ideas, I don\\\'t want to spend £40 replacing the clock and have the same problem.
