Has anyone had experience of a fast drying concrete, 100mm slab, which can be laid prior to tiling a wet room (Porcelain tiles over Marmox insulation board) floor. Needs to be quick drying. Someone’s mentioned Cemscreed which is a Tarmac product. Thanks

Guys. Fitted Vitodens 100 six years ago. Last 2 days rads struggling to get hot. Boiler flow temp quickly up to 70 deg from cold and flow immediately off boiler same, but circulation to rads very slow. Am I right in thinking step motor cartridge (div valve) is stuck in mid position. Hot water ok...

Fitted a Mira gem 88. Flow and temp controls both stiff to operate but shower works ok. Phoned Mira and they sending replacement cartridge. Anybody else experienced same prob Thanks

My advice would be to make it a sealed system, should your boiler instructions allow it. We have stopped fitting open vented boilers because of the problem you are experiencing. We powerflush thoroughly with X400 and add X100, but have still had problems with magnetite in the boiler heat...
