£3,500 0.9M IEC Power cable?

I sometimes wonder how much does it really cost to make such a audio-foolery power cable and does anyone really buy them at the ridiculous advertised price.

That's a bit higher than Newey and Eyre's Prices for a power cord, even with v.a.t. aded on top!

Well - not sure we need another post about snake-oil cables aimed at the stupid, ignorant and gullible.

We probably don't. Having said that, there are lots of other issues/views/comments (indeed, sometimes identical, or near-identical, posts) which get posted time after time after time - so it's not a unique situation, and certainly not the only culprit!
