hi there, I have a problem with my gas heating.
Firstly, the pressure guage reads 0 pressure
when turned on the ignition is working but not starting up
gas is turned on
no leaks
NO FILLER LOOP (boiler is connnected directly to water tank in attic)
expansion tank at 10psi
The make and model is Ideal calssic lxff 250 and we cant getg a manual to have a read.
We are suffering badly with the recession and if this can be a diy job, we wud prefer that.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Annmarie

If its really as you describe, then it will probably be a blocked feed pipe from the F&E tank ! Usually where it joins the system !

Can you cut out a section and clean and then reconnect?

A professional may be needed.

Hi there, thanks for the reply. The water is flowing down the pipe as there is a little screw we opened just above the boiler, when we opened it the water came out. It is really wrecking our heads I have to say. A
