Installation: Worcester 28CDi - recent full service and parts fitted by Worscester. Feeds 7 rads upstairs, six down ( 3 of these 13 are doubles)

Prob: 1 downstairs D/Rad not getting hot. has been like this since moving in 3 years ago.It is furthest from boiler and in small extended part of house completed well b4 we moved in. Rad is cool at bottom and progressively gets hotter at top when heating on for several hours. 10m pipe feeding lockshield is hot as is that small area of rad. 10m Pipe by Thermo valve not hot. Therm valve pin will fully rise.

Tried: bleeding ok
shutting down all other rads brings temp well up on problem Rad.

Have read similar probs posted and seems there could be several solutions.

OK- in anticipation of saving some dosh - thank you very glad - regards, Bomber

sounds (or reads) like u might have some sludge in the rad. u could take it off and clean it out with the garden hose.

the other part of the problem is balancing....check out FAQ section

Wow that was a quick reponse - Thanks.

Have had rad off in last 2-3 weeks to decorate, poured contents out but didnt stick a hose in it to rinse out - but will take off again and flush out,

Any other options if that fails

b4 embarking on such a develish plan i would check your insurance policy,LOL
