1 cold rad on microbore c/h system

Hi,
Ive got this cold rad downstairs have balanced rest of system ok,removed this rad and flushed(all clear)
while rad was off opened trv loads of pressure here and water ran hot,did same at lockshield just a very small dribble here.refitted rad bled air out no joy.
Went out for a couple of hours came back and lockshield end was lukewarm and trv end was cold ,opened draincock on lockshield and trv end was hot

The fact that the l/shield end only dribbled indicates a blockage.If your system is open vented it is possible to clear these blockages by attaching a hose to the disconnected l/s valve and opening it up and giving a quick burst with mains pressure water.I've had success on many occasions doing this,but is best done with assistance.

If you opened the lockshield with the pump running you will only get a dribble. ;) ;)

With the rest of the rads turned completely off does this one still stay cold?
