hello all, don't ask why but this is what i did. i wired a 1mm t&e from the board to the light switch and then from the switch to the first lamp holder and then to the second. now all the walls/ceilings have been plastered:(

what would be the best way to get out of this with the least damage to the walls? should i connect the cable from the board to switch with the cable from switch to lamp holder using a connector block and then run a cable from switch to lamp? hope this made sense..

any help much appreciated.

In the switch just join the neutrals with a terminal block, and put the lives into the switch terminals (com and l1), I can't see what the problem is, so I've probably mis-understood the question

OOI, what had you done with the neutrals?

So you took a twin & earth cable from the CU, where presumably you connected one core to live and the other to neutral, but then when you got to the switch you thought you'd just abandon the neutral and not take it to the light?

I'm not having a go, but you really and truly have so little understanding of how electricity works that you should not be doing work like this....
