10 year old Main HE System boiler

I am changing the vented cylinder to an unvented cylinder but would like to keep the 10 year old Main HE 24 system condensing boiler.

Some plumbers say I should change the existing boiler in one job, other say I should keep it, the boiler is so basic that I cant imagine failure from any fancy electronic and read about new boilers lasting 5-7 years before suffering some fault "beyond economic repair"

Ops,

Question is, should I "risk" it and keep the existing system boiler to save a couple of grand or change a working boiler now rather than risk it packing up in the unforeseen future (feels wasteful)

You'll get as many opinions as posts on that, but if it were me I'd keep it. It works. Why spend the money until you need to.
