What are peoples opinions on 10mm copper for heating pipes?

Properly used I think its fine.

But it does need to be carefully planned.

Why do you ask?

Tony

10mm is fine, make sure drops only feed 1 radiator, don't try to feed 2 rads with one drop.

It normally works fine in small houses to use 22 mm up to a point where it splits for upstairs and downstairs and then 15 mm.

With condensing boilers the flow rate required is almost half of what was needed previously because the flow/return differential is 15-20 C compared with the old nominal 11 C.
