Hiya

im installing a new system in my house but just want to ask some advice on downstair radiators.I am a service engineer and this is first design on a system really so though id leave it to the installers instead

Fitting a worcestor bosch junior 28he

All upstairs is fitted with 22mm flow and return and 15mm to flow and return to the radiators.

As i have concrete floors all over the house,i am tempted to install 10mm down the wall for drops to my downstairs radiators via a speefit 22mm to 4x10mm manifold.Hopeing to reduce amounts of joints under the floor

Then come up to the radiators in 15mm copper tails within boxing.

The system will be treated as required and balanced of course.

Any downfalls to 15mm tails from 10mm pipework?

Any comments at all please do

Thanks for the reply, more than likely be a first fix to be fair with the 10mm and see how i get on.
