A couple of questions please:

1. when inserting a 110mm pipe into a fitting, I can see there is a maximum insertion line inside the fitting. How close to this should the pipe go. I am currently around 20mm away but the connection seems solid. Is that good enough?
2. in another situation, I hammered the pipe right up to this insertion line and then cut the pipe so there is only 30mm outside the fitting - equal tee in this case. I now need to remove this small stub of pipe. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

1. I'd always use full insertion length. If fitting very easily accessible may be worth risking.
2. Assuming you lubricated joint correctly silicone grease or similar. You should be able to get hold of the bit sticking out (decent pliers or grips) and pull twist and wriggle out.
