In fact, it infuriates me.
I wasted lots of time in my days dealing with potential customers who had been conned and wanted all sorts of reassurance that I wasn't gonna be the next cowboy scamming them.
One guy even asked me to give him a deposit of £500 as guarantee that I was going to do a good job without running away with their money!
These scammers give a bad name to all of us.
Said this, now that we have the internet telling us about how to avoid being scammed, people should be more careful before partying with large amount of money.
I am just warning the op about the scammers next move.
As many here have said, best to get rid of the scammers before the job becomes more expensive than the mortgage.
