Do they exist? I have an inline fan whose grill is 140mm. I'd like to change my single ceiling light for 3 downlights and have them match the diamter of the fan grill for aesthetics.
Doesn't needing to put in 3 times as many lights as you now have hint that maybe the lights you want to put in are p-poor at actually lighting up rooms?
When you factor in all the things you need to do in the loft when you put recessed lights into a bathroom ceiling, surely you should pause and think about whether it really is such a good idea?
The thing is, those adapter plates are only IP20, which is not good for a bathroom. Or does the adapter not matter, as long as I use a suitably IP-rated actual light.

My ceiling light matches the rest of the house (all rooms the same) so if I change, I don't want a different looking multi-spot light . I'm changing as although the existing light is IP44 rated, it's not weathered well at all in that environment.
My bathroom is below a part of the loft that is not boarded (shallow pitch so not worth it) so is easy to access from above, joist depth not an issue etc.
