Afternoon all,

quick question, well curious really.

If i can get 18 degrees on my rear extension but the slate im using goes down to 15 degress.

should i pitch my roof to 15? or is the normal to take it higher?, maybe a brick below the sill.

cheers guys

Go as high as you can allowing for chasing in a flashing recess under the sill.

Agree with Vinn. The more pitch the better, but def consider the flashings.

You'll probably have to alter the gauge if you're going to be close to the minimum pitch. Check the product specifications for low pitch installation.

Also, if you're installing roof Windows, you'll have to check the min pitch of the Windows too.
