I have got 150 semi flex duct and as advised used a 152mm core drill to make a suitable hole. Can I get it through,.. no.

I have streched it out and tried twisting in the direction of the sprial but it just folds. I tried the end cap in the hole and it just fits, so I can't see how it would ever fit.

any tricks advice please.

I've just had exactly the same problem.

The answer came to me in my dreams... literally!

I got a short piece of 150mm (or whatever the exact measurements are) soil pipe.

Cut it to the length required for the thickness of the wall.

Made one cut length-ways down the wall of the pipe. Then another cut about 10mm away (taking out a 10mm strip). Then simply squeezed it together so it was a tight fit.

Fit the flexi-duct with duct tape, and job's a goodun!
