The current TRV fitted is giving problems ie slight leak!

I am aware of taking it easy when removing Brass or Copper olives from heating pipes so as not to damage the piping.

How easy is it to remove the brass reducer 15 to 8mm, which is fitted and replace it with a new one?

Thanks

Easier said than done when the TRV is at the end of a horizontal run and where the pipe has a sweeping radius upto the valve with not much straight pipe to work on...

Still, thanks for the tip!

Cut it back to the horizontal and run a new piece in, ive never managed to get one of these off, without damaging the pipe anyway, always got to cut it back, which is a pain in the arse if it comes out of a wall on a benr 2.5 inches behind the valve
