Hi All,

Having removed a lean to laundry room, I now have the fun task of removing the concrete slab that has a depth of about 65cm. It measures 2.50m x 3.50m. I'm looking to hire something like this: http://www.jewson.co.uk/tool-hire/b...reakers/products/2776/demolition-hammer-16kg/

My question is whether this is good enough to break up the slab or will I be wasting my effort? I don't mind a bit of hard work, but if there's a better tool to use? I don't what to hire a pneumatic one. Dynamite is out too.

Oh yes, and the slab needs to come out - i can't bury it/deck it over. And will be using the rubble later on elsewhere, so no need to skip away.

Thanks,

OB
