1930's Semi, Part Glass wall for the bathroom?

HI another design question (lets hope this one gets more replies)

So, I removed the old plaster and slats and of course lots of lovely light floods into the stairs/hallway.

So I was thinking of a large glass wall/window above the panelling.

Any ideas on how I could do this without looking tacky?

stained glass was quite popular in the 1930s in many designs

you (or neighbours) might have an original panel in or above the front door for style inspiration.
 
Look on eBay - there`s a nice full height panel in Bournemouth :idea:
